Thread: HTC Touch Dual - Touch Screen Not Working

I've finally got this problem as well, pretty late in the piece. Can anyone suggest a good repairer in Sydney, preferably inner area?

I suspect a cable has come loose between the screen slider and the mainboard, every function seems to work except the screen doesn't respond.

The web is telling me it's a common problem with this model, may be a design or assembly problem, hoping it's a quick easy inexpensive fix.

I don't suppose HTC is going to honour this well known problem with a warranty fix after 12 months...
