Thread: Annoying audible alert for missed calls while on a call?

I would like to know if I am the only one that has this issue - I google'd but couldn't find anything.

When I am on a call and I receive another incoming call that rings off (i.e. that I don't answer) there's a missed call alert. It is so deafening that you can't hear the other person speak (I have even had the other person ask what that noise was)! I have tried disabling missed call alert completely but the annoying "ding ding ding" alert continues.
Is there any way, maybe with registry, to switch this off?

I have an HTC Touch Dual WM 6.1 (Build 1.9965.1.2.3) and even before I did the latest available ROM update I had this "issue".

Settings -> sounds & notifications. Mess around a bit, it should say missed call in a dropdown box on the second tab. just select *none* to that event.

:? mmm, sure I have tried that as it does seem to be the "logical" setting: currently it is set to vibrate only. Setting it to *nothing*!

Going to test it and report back.
