unfortunately HTC does not care about this updates for guys with “old” models. They want you just to buy a new one model.

You can't expect any updates from HTC official site but there's a lot of cooked roms out there that we can use.

So,lets make it clear:
NO OFFICIAL WM 6.1 FOR HTC TOUCH,
also, note that
NO OFFICIAL WM 6.5 FOR HTC TOUCH
and now they are releasing HTC Touch2, we might never see WM 6.000000001 for HTC Touch.
Solutions: a cooked ROM, a new phone or stick to what you've got, 6.0 (that's what I did!)

No, you don't!
Please send me the link where you got that 6.1 version from. And if you have it from Indian Network...well, I won't comment! But I'm sure there is NO official release for 6.1 on HTC ELF/ELFIN.

6.1 version can be upgraded from any HTC authorised service center in india as it is not for public release.They charge 2 $ /100 rs INR only. .Moreover i just wanted to know that how to upgrade htc 3450 to a cooked rom version 6.5.Any expert pls reply.Thanks

I was given the link below while I was talking to HTC customer service representative. I guess this is the official link (since the url is htc.com) for WM 6.1 ROM for HTC Touch P3452 (Elfin). Unfortunately I couldn't use it because my model is P3450. If anyone has a link for P3450 please post here.
