Thread: My HTC P3450 is turning on, shows the "smart mobility" but

My HTC Touch P3450 is turning on, shows the "smart mobility" screen and then blanks out the screen, sometimes If I press the Hang up button a few times it shows a very faint screen but the moment I touch the screen it blanks out. I cannot perform a hard reset as the screen says the phone is locked, apart from that the phone is working, but I can only answer calls. HELP!!

You can perform a Hard Reset via the hardware buttons.
1) Hold down the Talk & End buttons;
2) Press & release the Reset button {Bottom of phone right side of USB}
3) release the Talk & End buttons when you see the confirmation screen {Warning that this will erase all data}
4) Press Enter/Action button {Center of directional pad}
5) Wait for device to erase all you Data & Reset to factory standard.
After a short period the device will reboot automatically. If this doesn't solve the issue, then it is most likely a hardware problem. If it is a hardware issue, you will most likely need a new motherboard; As the video controller is most likely the cause.

I upgraded my HTC P3450 to wm 6.5 of Onyx 5.6. But this version is wrong with "smart mobility" screen. I tried soft reset, hard reset and bootloader from SD card ("Invalid certificate" error is shown on the screen) with good version of wm6.1 and wm 6.5. But the problem is the same . How to solve this problem.

There is no 6.5 upgrade for the P3450! If you flashed yours with a 6.5 ROM, it was a custom ROM. The best place to ask questions about a custom ROM is the thread that was created for that ROM. Did you flash the device with HardSPL before flashing the 6.5 ROM? Have you tried reflashing it with an official HTC ROM? If you did not have HardSPL on the device , it is most likely bricked. If you can get into bootloader mode; try flashing an official ROM {Official ROMs can be downloaded from HTC.com}.

I upgraded my HTC P3452 to wm 6.5 using the following link. The entire process was scucces and i could able to use the mobile for 3 hours after that it start resatrig and now its only showing "smart mobility" screen. I tried soft reset, hard reset But the problem is the same . How to solve this problem.

Johnson: your question needs to be posted in the forum that you provided the link for. You should also reflash it with an official ROM {@ least till you find a usable 6.5 ROM}. Sorry, but I am NOT reading thru 1200 pages to see if anyone else has had this issue & solved it.

HTC p3450 works well without simcard, with simcard it hangs up on windows mobile screen and then shuts down, plz help
