could somebody please explain to me how to successfully download windows mobile 6.5 onto my HTC touch :|

HTC's official website is HTC.com! Anyone looking for a 6.5 ROM should look there. If a 6.5 ROM is not available for your device, then your only option is to flash a custom ROM. Since custom ROMs are different, & the one you use will be for your own taste/needs, noone can tel you where the ROM you want would be. If you go Forum.xda-developers.com you sill see a subsection for your device. In that subsection will be ROMs that have been customized by experiance ROM cooks. If you cannot find a ROM there, then your SOL!
