Bluetooth
Hi,
Started using HTC Touch and am unable to "pair" a bluetooth headset.
I have switched on the headset, and enabled bluetooth. HTC is unable to
detect the headset. I got this headset along with an earlier Sony Ericsson
mobile. Is this an issue? I thought it should not matter as long as the headset
is bluetooth isnt it?
I have one another problem. I have enabled data connections thru GPRS.
But sometimes (at airports esp) if HTC is unable to find a connection then
it freezes. The handset is locked and the screen is blank (normally thats
ok but when i press the power button it should come back on).... I have
to remove the battery and then put it back to start the phone.... What
am i missing??

Re: Bluetooth
With connecting the bluetooth device, have you tried a soft reset of your phone. I have had an issue similar to that with my Touch and the Motorola S9. My wife was using it a while with her PPC and then when I tried connecting it with my Touch, I couldn't even see the device. After a soft reset, the Touch was able to see it again. Another tip is to make sure the bluetooth device is turned on before you activate bluetooth on your phone.

Re: Bluetooth
I want to use my PC internet on my mobile using bluetooth. I have an IVT BlueSolil Bluetooth dongle. Please can any one explain or point to web resource which explain the configuration.
I have two phones, 1) HTC Touch P3452 and 2) Sony Ericson K810i.
I would like to browse internet of either on the phone using bluetooth while some one from my family is working on the PC.
Thanks in advance.

Re: Bluetooth
This is an old article, but it should still work. Keep in mind that internet sharing over bluetoth is a lot slower than if you have a wifi connection. In the future, create your own thread in the forum so that people will know where to find things better.

Re: Bluetooth
Sorry to bother you. But I have already read this article the day I brought my HTC Touch. It does not work. Have you tried this before.

http://www.venukb.com/2007/08/07/set...via-bluetooth/
I also have a bluetooth dongle that came with IVT bluesoliel drivers, however i was not able to connect my phone to activesync using those drivers (even though i think there are posts detailing how to do that also...but it didnt work 4 me). So i followed advice in the post below and was able to itI have an IVT BlueSolil Bluetooth dongle.
NOTE: follow the procedure given in this link at ur own discretion.

The above two posts helped me to connect my bluetooth dongle to my active sync. And once u r connected to activesync u can connect to internet through it.
P.S. This post refers exclusively to the htc p3452 i dont know abt the procedure for sony errcison
regards,
Atul
