Touch is a bit slow ?
hi,
just got a Touch. is it me or is it a bit slow to react? :/ previously had a sammy i600 and that seemed quicker. especially talking about home screen interaction. quite often have to press things a umber of times for it to register even though im getting the tap sound

I have heard of the GSM Touch being too slow sometimes, make sure you're not leaving programs running in the background unless you use them frequently.
Search for overclocking with batterystatus, lots of the GSM Touch users are doing it, there was a guide somewhere I'll see if I can dig it upAndrew

yes i tend to make sure i kill off unused apps such as active synch etc

yup, always make sure u end running apps
but also make sure ur device memory isn't "critically low" (as the phone calls it).. that should help at some point
but all in all, yes it's extremely slow most times... but then again, it's only an 'introductory level product', so much rustiness expected [sadly :cry: ].xX-Egypt-Xx.

I tried killing applications using untilities available on WM6software.net but still has had no major success, Touch is touch slow but battery life is killing me

right - just installed batterystatus OC and running it at 221 - looking quicker so far - today scren rebuild after unlock much smoother

oh so do u just install this app & it overclocks? (a.k.a no need 2 hard reset n alla dat risky crap?)
