    Default why does active synch run all the time? :/

    hi

    pretty much every time i check the htc standard taskman, AS is running. even though ive not connected my phone to pc recently :/ is there an option on AS on phone to stop this?

    Got the same thing here, I'm so sure it never ran untill I setuped push email. And after that have always stayed on.

    But i'm doing a hard reset now, i'll let you know it its still there when I'm done

    It seems to start way less now and only when I sync with my computer.

    I'm pretty sure it started always running when I setuped push email in the Active Sync options at the phone.

    Now after a hard reset it only seems to start (and remain open) after the phone is connected to a computer.

    But this is only minimal testing, i haved tried for several hours to see if it starts up again. It might..

    After a night on charging still no active sync started up and running in the BG

    hi - cheers for the update - ive heard reset mine recently but still get the old AS issue - odd :/

    I saw some other post elsewhere regarding this.

    They claimed that:
    Active Sync -> Settings -> Connections.

    Remove the checkmark for sync usb.....

    Might be worth a try?
    Didn`t work for me tho.
