P3450 RAM Upgrade
hi, i'm just wondering if it is possible for us to send our P3450(Elf) to upgrade our 64mb ram modules or our 128mb rom to those in P3452(Elfin).

Re: P3450 RAM Upgrade
Who is your service provider?
I would check with them. Depending on how long you have had service with them and how often you have to get phones replaced they should be able to help ya out.
If they are not willing to in the store there are a few things to do to change there minds.
Be nice to the sales guy.
Ask to speak with the store manger. When he says no.
Get a survey card and call in with all negative options at they end it should give you the chance to leave a comment.
Plead your case in the recording and wait for the manager to call you.
That will get his boss involved and his boss is the one that can let you have a phone.
Any one know of an easier way?

I do not know of any service that is available for this, I think in general if you bought the original Touch before HTC made the enhanced version you are out of luck

If you are with bell (like me) then you have the CDMA version, which all of them have the bigger ram/rom

Re: P3450 RAM Upgrade
If you are just tring to find the model number pull the battery and look on the back of your phone. It may be different between carries.
I'm with Alltel and my Touch is a 6900
