Thread: Touch screen freeze with gwes.exe

I have been using my HTC Touch hd for two weeks now and it crush twice..... and window pop up and say having error on gwes.exe then the screen stop working but the site and power button still works. Does anyone having this problem?

hi, i have had a problem where it has crashed twice, both times was when on charge , the first time it came back on after a few hours the second time it never came back on at all, i rung up orange who then replaced my handset as it had been within a two weeks. hope my replacement is ok.
I would suggest rying to get it replaced just incase it is a faulty handset.

I still have the problem with gwes.exe. It happens to me allmost daily without a headset attached.

The hotfix was a sollution for what it's made for, it's not a sollution for the gwes.exe problem.

Any other idea?

try the rom update if that doe not resolve the issue ask for another hd
