Thread: Touch HD Music Player Track Order Wrong?

Has anyone else had a problem synching WMA files from Microsoft Windows Media Player (11) and their Touch HD? The Albums/Tracks all go across to the device (Windows XP Activesync => Micro SD card) OK and they look fine and play fine on the HD with Windows Mobile Media Player. Albums also look AOK with the TF3D Music Player; but the track order is consistently wrong! I've only just started using the Touch HD (and it is superb!) so am tempted to just do a Hard Reset and start all over again (as I assume probably botched somethng along the way) ...any thoughts? Cheers!!

Update/Workaround:
OK. Well, Hard Reset was no good. I spotted on another forum that this could be related to the use of WMA files rather than MP3. So, I used Desktop WMP to deleted all of my (WMA) music files off the Touch HD and my Desktop, then re-Ripped them as MP3 (after changing the Rip default setting from WMA ;-)). Resynch'd with my Touch HD and all is great!! All files loaded onto HD AOK and are presented and play in the correct order. No idea what the actual underlying cause of this is and why HTC Music Player juggles the order of WMA files. (I'm sure some guru out there will know). Anyway I'm not crazy about WMA files and had not realised that it was the defaul WMP setting.
Hope this helps anyone out there who falls into the same trap.
