Internet options
I adore the Touch HD
but...
Windows mobile using either IE or Opera 9.5 has limited access to too many of the sites I visit. I can't see my google mail account on-line (I can download every 5 minutes it but it's not quite what I'm used to because it lacks the functionality...). I can't see my google calendar online either which determines my life, although I sync with Pocket Informant and Goosync to overcome the problem. Opera mobile however just crashes out at the drop of a hat. IE gives an oft repeated error message and won't load the page. Some sites work fine but until the flaws are ironed out I have loaded Opera mini which I run using Java. The text is small but the functionality is far better than either of the pre-installed options, it gives me access to google mail and calendar AND whats more it doesn't crash!
Is windows mobile really at fault or are the browsers not up to the task? Does anyone know if there are upgrades due soon on either windows mobile or opera mobile which apart from it flaws is quite fun?
Iris browser is quite good by the way, I quite like the fade between screen updates instead of the wait.
