Thread: ROM Upgrade Srewed up HD

Hi!

After upgrading the ROM in my HTC HD my phone is not working anymore. When i start it, it gives me distorted screen and colors on HTC logo and windows mobile screen then it takes too much time to start and then hangs. It was working very good before upgrade. I have hard reset it twice but same problem. Can i get the original ROM verison back and install it on it or plz give me some solution?

Hmm I installed it ok, phone fine BUT can't retrieve backup of contacts or set apps that I have on the hard drive to the programmes page or start menu . .. . There is no info on how to correct these from HTC, I have posed the Q and haven't had an answer yet.... In your case, I'd run the process again ...

what rom did you install, is the screen all green and distorted ?!!

i have had the same problem as you are describing try to install the rom update again then install the hotfixes from the htc web i did that last night i still get the distorted screen but the phone works fine, i have also found a way to get rid of the distorted screem image if you turn your phone off then back on quickly when it gets to the windows screen that works on mine

try it see how you get on
