Thread: Screen alignment problem

If your device is under warranty, it is best to send it to an HTC service center for a repair. Call HTC warranty services to see if the device is covered. Some devices have up to 2 years warranty.

If the device is not covered by warranty, then you can change out the Digitizer quite easily. You must disassemle the device, remove the old Digitizer, & pop the new one in. I reccomend that you look over the service manual before disassembling. It is good to be familiar with the guts {Especially the cable locations}. The flex cables inside are very delicate & can be easily broken or torn. Be sure to be gentle with the internal components. The best news is that the digitizer doesn't have to be soldered in place. This means that you can get the digitizer cheap & install it yourself.

I have the same problem like yours. My solution is...turn the device off, get the battery out, and then...restart.
