Screen alignment problem

I have touch hd . From sometime the screen alignment is constantly getting messed up and I have to re-align every five minutes . This means that after some clicks the alignment is lost. please help how to resolve this issue .

Exactly what is the problem?

What do you mean alignment gets messed up?

You cannot select items on the screen because the screen thinks your stylus is tapping somewhere else?

Yes i cannot select items on the screen because the screen thinks that stylus is tapping somewhere else.
I can align the screen, but after few moments the alignment is lost again and i have to align again and again.
Please suggest what can be done.

Sorry I don't have a fix but I would suggest two options.

1, I would try a hard reset just to make sure nothing installed since the original setup has caused the problem.

2, If option 1 doesn't fix it then I'd suggest take it to a service centre as it may be a hardware fault.

BTW, is it the original ROM?

Has been hard reset. The problem is the same.
ROM is original.
I have tried to find updated version but when i enter serial number in HTC support it comes with dutch version.
My HD is English so i didn't. my serial number is HT**********

Sorry but if the Hard Reset has not worked then I would suggest a trip to service dept.

As to the Dutch ROM issue that is interesting. Even though your unit is currently English it may not have been originally.

Don't know where you purchased it but sometimes if a device is bought of eBay for example the seller has purchased units from a foreign location, installed an English ROm and sells as an English unit. May not be in your case but I know it is that way with mine.

Good luck in getting the unit repaired.

Yes seems a thouch screen problem.
I have updated in 6.5 windows and problem is the same.
Can you please give me any instruction how to change the touchscreen ?
