I doubt Win7 will be released by HTC for the HD as they didn't release WM6.5 for it.

On the HD to use the standard Windows Mobile today screen you need to turn of Touch Flo 3D then you can setup your today screen options including third party applications.

I don't use the Touch Flo3d interface on my HD. Instead I use SPB's Mobile Shell http://spbsoftware.com/pocketpc-software/mobileshell/

I find it more appealing and useful. It is not free but you can download and install a trial without fear of trashing the phone. If it isn't what you want you can simply unistall it.

I have been using it on my Windows Mobile phones since it was first released and the current version of 3.5.3 is pretty slick. There are also lots of tweaks and tricks to get even more out of it.

I'd suggest you do a google on it, look at the video clips, download and install a trial. HAVE SOME FUN with it and see it is is what you are after

There are also themes for the Touch Flo but as I don't use it I have never tried them. Again if that is what you would like try a google on TouchFlo 3D themes.

    Cheers.

    G"Day Dunc.

If you downloaded from the link I provided in my post you would have been provided with two options.

The download button would have downloaded an EXE file to run from your PC and then completed an install onto your device via the USB cable connection.

The Download CAB file would have downloaded a CAB file which you need to transfer to your device and run from there.

Not sure where the zip file you have came from. Try transfering it to your device and running from there.

I can also add that SPB have a forum to discuss issues, tweaks etc and you may find additional information there helful.

The link for the section on SPB Mobile Shell is http://www.spbclub.com/forum/viewfor...db41efd24be498

Happy to help. I really think Mobile Shell makes the phone look better and so much easier to access other applications.
