Thread: My New HTC Touch HD Stuck at my First Startup Screen......Plz Help

Hi Everyone I bought Brand New HTC Touch HD from Ebay. I received the Phone, I first charged the battery and then turned it ON and my phone is stuck at this screen ( as shown in below pic ). It displays the phone model and software version on the top and Says SERIAL at the bottom. Nothing happens even on tapping the screen and the screen does not get dim what so ever, I tried switching it OFF and the power button also does not respond and the phone does not turn OFF.

Can anyone please tell me what the problem is and how can I solve it.
