Thread: touch screen stops working then starts again

Hi there,

I am having problems with the touchscreen on my phone. Late last year I think I got a little moisture into the screen. The touch stopped working. I left the phone on bench for 4 weeks with battery out and cover off. I then tried it and it worked. then about a week ago I was using it, put it in my pant pocket to walk out the front of house to check mail. Walked back in and touch had stopped working again. So again I took battery out and left it alone. yesterday I tried it and it was working again. Then today it lost part of the touch as no matter where I touched the screen, it was 'clicking' on the right hand side of screen. So I cold boot the phone (took battery out as I could not turn off) and restarted now touch not working again. I was thinking of replacing the touchscreen but not sure if that is the fault or not.
Not sure since it works and then does not work..

Any help would be great.
