    Default Hide photo album

I have the new Touch, wanted to know how can I hide my photo's from appearing in the album? or can i create a separate folder to save my pictures in instead of the main albums folder? I know i can save them to the storage card but i do not want them to appear on the main photo page when i click on photo album.
    thanks

Go to file explorer in programs. Go to My Device. Go to My Documents. Go to My Pictures. Once there you will see the pictures that are stored in your phone. Select MENU then New Folder. You can rename folder if you wish. Then with the stylus, touch and hold the picture you want to move. Select COPY. Then select the folder you' ve just created. Select MENU at bottom right. elect Edit then Paste. Select UP then erase the file you just moved. Sounds like a lot but once you do a few, it's a walk in the park! Especially when you have pictures that you don't want anyone to see. Like when you save pics that people have sent you through picture mail!
Hope this helps if you haven't figured it out by now!

There is no way whether stored on sd card or device. They will show up as a .jpg no matter where the pictures are. Best bet, upload em to your picture mail account or create a folder starting with like ZZZ, folders appear alphabetically. This will place that folder at the bottom of all your albums.

Another method. Create multiple folders with differant titles. IE: Vacation, Bday party, etc. place those pics in appropriate folders and they will show up alphabetically and your ZZZ folders will be at the bottom of the list. Also choose the folder you want as favorite.

    Good luck, this will work.

I highly suggest not following the last post....encryption. If you dont know what your doing, and switch devices NONE of the encrypted material will open. You can consider it "gone"

    Id seriously follow my advise

#1 upload them to your sprint PM accnt. and theyre off your device. All you have to do is go into online albums, redownload into phone or send right from there.

#2 If you have those pictures, you want no one too see create folders as stated in last post and name the folders you want "unseen" zzz1 or zzz2, etc.
that way they show up at the bottom of the albums list.

I'd truly, unless you know what your doing. To stay away from encryption if the pictures mean anything to you!

On this same topic, is there a way to remove the "all" feature from the photo album menu? I can "hide" the photos in another folder, but if someone picks up my phone and chooses all then every photo on the system shows up.

    Thanks.

On D2/TP2, you can tell Photo Album to ignore a folder when searching for images to display by adding the path of the folder to this registry:

    HKLM\software\htc\htcalbum\ignored\

Bro, I guess You need the app LEO privacy guard. Try installing that. It will help you.
