Lets say you lose all your contacts on outlook or phone. Do a reset but take sd card out. after phone has reset and ready to use. go to again file explorer. rename the PIM file on device "oldPIM".

Go to storage card, tap and hold, copy and paste into my device. Do a soft reset and everything will be there, addresses, contact pixz, even selective ringer you chose for them, it will even replace your favorite people on today screen tab.

Make sure as you see your device PIM file get larger you follow same procedure to keep it up too date.

    Any questions, contact me.

    Thanks Dave,

I remember calling Sprint when I had to do a hard reset and they told me how to save my contacts onto my Storage Card, but I had forgot how to do it. Thanks again. I did actually what you said to do and I still have my contacts and my ringers and contact pics. I even got my call history back.

I'm going to bookmark this post for future references.

Also PLEASE make sure you saved your pim file onto your storage card before you do your hard reset. If you have a MobileMate Reader or a flash drive adapter for your Storage Card, check that first to see if it is saved on the card. Then do your hard reset.

And don't past the new pim file, until you have renamed the old pim file.

Forget the phone. Could I have an intro to your ex girlfriend?
