Default Voice read out on texts after latest HTC update?

I am just curious if any other Alltel Touch Pro users are expirencing this. After updating my phone with the HTC released update, it sometimes will read my texts aloud. Not sure what makes it do it. And it does not always do it. I can not find a setting anywhere that mentions it. I have only had 2 different people text me and this happens. They are not on the same network... Which I thought may be happening on there end. I have noticed it only happens when a texts starts with RE:V or FWD:V which I am assuming the V is for voice... Well I asked them each if they are doing it and they said no. It is a cool feature... But sometimes it is not ok to read my text out loud... Like when the wife sends dirty messages and I am working...lol I need to know how to control this. Any help or insight would be great!

Default Re: Voice read out on texts after latest HTC update?

I just noticed my alltell touch pro started doing this last week but only when 1 person sends me text. His texts for whatever reason are always sent "URGENT" and that is the only difference between him and everyone else......

so i assume it only reads urgent texts?...

This happens when you upgrade the ROM to the newer version. The settings for this are in SETTINGS - PERSONAL tab - VOICE COMMANDS

In there you can set what you want to 'speak' and what you don't want to speak.
