The Raphael devices are not eligible for the 6.5 release right now. If it were you can always download HTC official ROMs from HTC.com in your respective country. If they will be eligible in the future, remains to be seen, but it's doubtful. If you want 6.5, you can install a custom ROM on your Raphael. Go to forum.xda-developers.com & select the Raphael section. You can search thru ROMs here that will suit your needs. Be sure to read the Stickies!!! You will nedd to apply a HardSPL before flashing a custom ROM {Otherwise you could brick your device}.

These phone truly suck. I thought the HTC Touch HD would be better but both are equally as bad. Retrieving email using that Send/Receive thing is annoying that you have to do a 15 minute send/receive process before you can read one email.
These is an unlocked phone both of them.

Re: How do I install & download windows 6.5 to HTC Touch Pro?
These devices have their issues, I'll admit that. But, they can also be "worked" with to make them a lil' more efficient. The biggest problem is that both devices use the Qualcomm msm7201A processor, this processor controls every aspect of the CPU, as well as controlling the Cellular & GPS functions. Since the Processor is triple-taxed, it is a lil' slower then a device that has seperate Cellular & GPS controllers. HTC is now coming out with devices that use the new Qualcomm 'SnapDragon' processors. The 'SnapDragon' ranges between 1.0 to 1.6 GHz & is the fastest processor available.
I can tell you right now... 6.5 is worse!! everyone wants to upgrade to the latest version, but 6.5 is really no better then 6.1Pro. The only real advantage to 6.5 is the finger-friendliness. As most devices have a better touch interface then the older systems, WM6.5 is designed for finger tapping. The Icons, & menus are larger. The biggest problem with that is the fact that The screens are too small for such an enlargement, & you can far much less on the screen at any given time.
I also find the new Internet explorer to be a royal pain in the ass! Instead of being able to set the standard view to a single line {like in the current PIE}, you have to view a 'zoomed out' page, then after selecting the area you want to view, it will zoom in and you have to use 'scrolling' to view the rest of the page. Again, since the screens are so small, very lil' of the page is displayed in the window & you must to a lot of Vertical & Horizontal scrolling. A lot of people love it but I don't like it at all. It's a lot like the Opera interface, which is also a pain in my ass. {Personal taste & all that nonsense}
For the send/receive process on the email server, do you have it set to download every folder that you have on your server? If you only have it sync the inbox, Sent, & Trash folders, it should go much quicker {unless you get a couple hundred emails a day}.I'm Lost; I've Gone To Find Myself. Correct - there is not. The most I have loaded was the new ROM from the HTC website, which loads the following:

There are minor changes to 6.1 from the earlier version, but not much. I don't expect 6.5 to come out for the Touch Pro at all
Oh well...
