Thread: How to download APPS

Hi I have a telus HTC touch pro and want to download some apps,,
My phone does Not have a app market screen . I dont know where to begin
Can someone explain the app download process

You don't need any application to download another.

For example, if you want to install Microsoft My Phone, go to http://myphone.microsoft.com/install on your computer or device and following the instructions on the screen and download the CAB file. If you download the CAB file to your computer, transfer the file to device and click to install.

And if you want to install Windows Marketplace for Mobile (for wm6.0 and wm6.1), go to http://mp.windowsphone.com on your device or computer.

Many applications offer CAB file as a direct download so make sure you check before downloading from the app's webpage.

If it is a setup EXE file, it's most likely a PC executable, in which case you need to install the application to the device through Microsoft ActiveSync (or Windows XP and older) or Windows Mobile Device Center (Vista or 7)
