Thread: Backlight will not turn off. HELP!

Recently, my HTC fuze's backlight will not turn off. I press the power button for it to sleep and it turns off for a second then turns back on. I have changed all the light settings and still the phone does not dim automatically. I do not know what to do as it is draining my battery light. For now I have the backlight on the lowest possible setting instead of the automatic feature.

I have not downloaded any apps or messed with the phone in any way to cause this to happen. I have soft and hard resetted the phone but it still does not work. Please HELP!
