Thread: setup MTNL Garuda service (Mumbai) on HTC Touch Pro CDMA US Cellula

Hi,

I purchased HTC Touch Pro (US Cellular CDMA). I want to use it with Mumbai MTNL Garuda Mobile Phone service in Mumbai, India.

I need carrier cabs to install so that it can connect to MTNL Garuda network. Currently When I press *228 it does not land on their network.

can some one provide carrier cabs for mumbai MTNL garuda CDMA (no RUIM) along with install instructions. would be nice if you have activation instructions.

why *228 does not connect me to MTNL service ? is it trying to connect to US Cellular/Sprint network ? is it that programming needs to be done for it like channels need to be set ?

I think PRL file is needed for *228 to work. any one had MTNL Mumbai Garuda PRL file ? If so can you post it here ?

Please provide me with programming code\dial codes for HTC Touch Pro US cellular so I can disable PRL and manually program it to work with MTNL.
