Thread: How to recover deleted SMS/E-MAIL/MMS from Internal Storage (Not Memory Card)

Dear All,

By mistake I deleted some text messages from my HTC Touch Pro Windows Mobile. I would like to know how I could recover the text messages.

I have gone through several sites but still unable to find a solution for this. Is there a tool for HTC Windows Mobile phone which I could install to recover deleted items ?

It is really strange that no one had thought of creating an app for this. I am sure lots of people would benefit from a tools like this. I have heard of tools for other OS on other phones but for Windows Mobile have not heard anything.

I just hope someone would give an answer to this issue.

does anyone know the location or file ext of where the sms are kept.

these are windows based phones so if we get this info any windows data recovery software will work.

anyone?

ive found out they are stored in \windows\messaging. but trying to get to this location via active snyc or pc is proving impossible.

any ideas?
