Thread: Voicecall mic problem??? PLEASE HELP!

Hi all I am experiencing issues with the mic lately. I have no hands free kit attached to the device and when I make a voice call I could hear the person I made a call to but they can't hear me. Tried a number of people and seems to be the same problem. When I place my mouth over the mic the person could hear me does that mean I have probably done something stupid and adjusted a setting here? Shall I try a hard reset?

Thanks all. Hoping this isn't a phone issue as this is my first HTC and its not made a good first impression.

Hi all just did a hard reset and still the same problem! Jesus just had the phone for 15 days and this happens. Truely they do make things cheaply nowadays.

Had the same problem ... Tried two options :
1- In the PHONE tab , MENU , OPTIONS , ADVANCED , Change "Reduce noise in phone calls" to NEVER ;
2- This one seemed to do the trick ...!!!: When I use the phone during a conversation , I am right handed , I put my small finger , pinkie , under the phone , dont know why , probably to prevent it from slipping , but what happens is that I then close the mic's little hole .........!!
Problem is now of the past !!
