Thread: Phone calls via internet?

Can someone help me to follow the instructions under Start > Help > Table of Contents > Make and Receive Phone Calls > Make Internet Calls please?

I'm lost at the start, because it says "Your internet calling provider and status appear as a line on the Today screen." But I see nothing about this!

I'm an experienced PC and PPC user but a complete novice when it comes to mobiles and networks etc, so maybe this is embarrassingly obvious.


Does "Your internet calling provider" means my phone company, Orange? If not, who is it? And how do I set this up please?

Edit: OK, sorted myself thanks. Skype now installed and working on both desktop and TP2.

I got Skype up and running on my phone too.
Works like a charm at a fraction of the cost
