Betfair Mobile not installing.
Just purchased the HTC Touch Pro2. Most of what I wanted to do is OK but I had some problems activating the Internet Calling feature. Eventually I gave up and installed Nimbuzz for my VOIP calls using SIP. But if anyone knows or has figured out how to activate internet calling please let me know.
The second problem I've had is trying to install Betfair Mobile. I've tried to install it from both the IE and opera browsers but no joy so far. The Opera browser tells me that the phone does not support Java applications and the IE won't load the page I get a 401 error or something. I've read that you can install java midlets or some thing like the "Esmertec Jbed CDC Java Virtual Machine for Windows Mobile Pocket PCs" to get Java applications to work.
I really want to get befair mobile to work so if anyone as any idea please let me know.
Thanks,
Paul

Re: Betfair Mobile not installing.
I take it you have already setup a Betfair Account. Go to Start - All Programs - JBlend then click Install - Download at the bottom of the screen and go to the link that was originally sent to you as an email when first trying to setup. it's something like this,
If you do not receive a SMS from us then please enter the following address into your mobile phone's browser to download Betfair Mobile: http://mobile.betfair.com/provisioning/ ... jqyy8YF9J9
This should install the Betfair Mobile as a Midlet which you can run from JBlend anytime you want.
There is one problem it won't let me login to use it when it asks for username and password and you also have to use the midlets tiny keyboard to type in your username and password.
Hope it helps, will get back to you if I figure anything else out. For a start a midlet with a better resolution for this the Touch pro 2.
