Thread: Battery life

Hello. I just got my TP2 and wondering how the rest are doing when it comes to battery life. It says on the specs. that stand by time is @ 500 hrs. on GSM and 750 WCDMA. After a full charge, mine last @ 2 days with turning it off at night and goes down to 2 bars already. This is not even doing any internet and vibration off on the settings. How does your last before it gets down to 2 bars? Power setting is also set to battery saver and not high performance setting.

set the handset to GSM if your using it for phone calls to save power.but internet will be disabled in that case.

you can also check if the battery is faulty
1. Charge the battery to 100%.
2. Disable from running or uninstall any 3rd party applications.
3. Disable Bluetooth.
4. Disable WiFi.
5. Enable flight mode
6. Set backlight to maximum settings.
7. In the power management settings, uncheck any option that would set the backlight to turn off.
8. Let phone stay idle for 1 hour and check battery capacity.
9. If there is a loss of 40% or more, then this means that battery is faulty and needs to be replaced.
