Re: Problem with my apps turning on when I am making Phone call
This is a common problem with touchsreen devices. If the screen is active during a call, your cheek will touch the screen & acivate a program. Newer devices are supposed to disable the screen once a call is in effect, but they do not always disable it fast enough. Once you have pressed the Send/Accept button, press the power button before placing the device to your ear {This deactivates the screen}.

Re: Problem with my apps turning on when I am making Phone call
I have tried this and it does not work.
and why does it almost every time start up the last app?
I think it has to do with the start button and the displays on the menu and at the top of the menu there are the most recent icons ....I think these are the buttons being pressed when i am talking on the phone.
But the turning the phone screens off like pressing the power button on the top of the phone DOES not work
I think if i can get rid of the most recent opened program apps on the top of the menu this will work
GOT ANY OTHER IDEAS

Is the proximity sensor working on your TP2? It should turn off the screen when you place the phone next to your ear during a call.

When the screen is turned off by the proximity sensor, you should not be able to use it, let alone launching applications.
Did you press your face too hard against the phone during a call to have pressed the Start button key by any chance? (Start button is the Windows icon next to the Send button) This action would override the proximity sensor and reactiviate the screen. Please do not send your questions or problems to me using Private Messages function. Re: Problem with my apps turning on when I am making Phone call
Ok here is how the sensor works
I i hold phone close to my skin it will stay on but if i pull it away less then a inch you can see the screen turn on
If i press the off display button on the top of the phone ( the off button ) when i am not in a PHONE call the screen will stay off. But if I am in a phone call your idea about pressing the (power off button) DOES NOT WORK!
you said? """Did you press your face too hard against the phone during a call to have pressed the Start button key by any chance? (Start button is the Windows icon next to the Send button) This action would override the proximity sensor and reactiviate the screen.""""""
IF THE SENSOR IS WORKING LIKE YOU TALKED ABOUT pressing the phone to hard to my face will not turn on my start screen.....BECASUE you said the sensor makes the screens black and everthing turns off
I hate to say this
you shoukd test some of these ideas before you tell me what to do
GOT any more IDEAS
HOW do i turn off the most recent visited apps on the menu in the registry????
That might work

Re: Problem with my apps turning on when I am making Phone call
"I i hold phone close to my skin it will stay on but if i pull it away less then a inch you can see the screen turn on"
1. Your proximity sensor does not look like it's working. The screen should get turned OFF when proximity sensor is covered, and ON again when sensor is not covered.
"If i press the off display button on the top of the phone ( the off button ) when i am not in a PHONE call the screen will stay off. But if I am in a phone call your idea about pressing the (power off button) DOES NOT WORK!"
2. At no time did I suggest you use the Power Button. Don't you mean it was your own idea??
3. If you press the power button once quickly, it places the device in "standby mode". It's not a (quote) display button (unquote)! You should read device's manual for the correct terms to use, rather than making up your own.
4. There is a button next to the Send button with the Windows icon. If you press that while the phone is against your face during a call, it will override the proximity sensor. THIS IS NOT DOCUMENTED. I KNOW OF THE BEHAVIOUR BECAUSE I TESTED AND DISCOVERED IT FOR MYSELF!!

There ARE more to your phone than having just a touch screen - learn to use the buttons too! I bet you aren't even aware of the Windows icon on your computer's keyboard having the same function as the Start button in Windows!
"I hate to say this
you shoukd test some of these ideas before you tell me what to do"
5. Just because you have not read what I wrote properly or it's not working on your device because you have not followed instructions does not give you the right to accuse something not being tested. If you want to be rude about it, then you get no more help from me.Please do not send your questions or problems to me using Private Messages function.
