Windows Marketplace on 6.1
I saw on Phonesoop yesterday that Microsoft made Marketplace available for WinMo 6.0 and 6.1. So I thought I would try it out.
TouchFlo is very impressive! Maybe I am easily impressed since I came from Samsung Omina. Anyhow, after installing the Marketplace .cab, the phone would automatically go to sleep after 30 seconds. What I mean is if I had the music player on, it would stop playing music when the screen would turn off. No matter what the power settings were set to. I uninsalled the app, all is normal again.
So this is mostly and FYI for those who were thinking of installing this on their 6.1 powered TP2. Or maybe it is just my unit???

The normal behaviour is actually what you "experienced": AudioManager stops when the screen is turned off, except when you are using headphones (also applies when listening music through Bluetooth headphones/handsfree)

You can also get this app by going to the following url on your mobile browser
mp.windowsphone.com
& download the cab direct to your handset
Hope this helps

Re: Windows Marketplace on 6.1
Thanks - I had difficulty getting the windows marketplace to accept a credit card. The online store is at https://marketplace.windowsphone.com/
I created the log in and credit card info there. For me it was a lot easier that way.
