Thread: text message notification

Sometimes when I receive a text message no sound notification will go off, it will just show a new message on the screen but the phone wont vibrate or anything. Most of the time it works, just sometimes it doesn't. anyone else have this problem?

I have the same problem. At least half of the time when I receive a text message, the phone makes no sound. I have a custom tone set for that and I haven't switched back to an internal one to see if that fixes the problem.

I give up I reset the device and everything and still having the problem. Htc tech support is no help. If anyone has a fix for this problem please let me know.

Just got mine yesterday - that feature seems to be working OK - BUT I'm wanting to squelch the send confirmation after a txt message is sent - I always get a pop up which tells me the message is sent - I find no way to shut this confirmation off - any ideas?
