Help! Lost Touchflo Phone Dialer Skin and Other Issues...
Just got my first win mobile phone, and I have a few questions for all the experts here:
1. Touchflo is still active but somehow the touchflo phone dialer skin diappeared. How can I recover it, w/out a hard reset?
2. How many apps have people loaded into these tp2 phones, on average? Can apps be loaded directly onto the SD card?
3. Can anyone recommend a Mobile Outlook app if I'm not looking to sync w/a PC and want to use the phone as a standalone PC/laptop replacement?
4. Is there a calendar app available that shows a complete month view, similar to a paper desktop calendar or the month view in Outlook? Could the calendar integrate with touchflo, replacing the existing calendar?
5. How would I cut and paste text in windows mobile, similar to control c/control v in windows?
6. Is there a way to improve video out quality when running the accessory cable from the tp2 to a monitor?
Thanks, in advance, for everyone's help!

1)
2) Apps can be loaded to the SD card. Some programs require installment on the main memory, If this is the case the program will say so during install. It's actually better to install progs to the card because it saves system memory. Every program that you install to the main memory makes your device a lil' more sluggish because it takes memory that the system can use.
3)* One of the best WM outlook programs out there is MS pocket Outlook. This program is already installed on ALL WM devices. It includes Mobile versions of Mail as well as Calender, Tasks, etc... Turn off TF3D!!
4)* The calender that is installed from the factory will do what you ask. TURN OFF TF3D!!!!
5) Cut & paste can be performed thru a few different methods. Yes, the Ctrl C & Ctrl V & Ctrl X can be used just as it is on a PC. You can also copy & [paste by highlighting the text you want, then tap & hold to bring up the context menu. Another way would be to select the text you want, tap "menu" & select "edit" then Copy/Cut/Paste. {This does not work in all programs}
6)
*TF3D is not part of the OS. It is an addon from HTC. TF3D takes between 10-15MB to run. If you disable TF3D your system will speed up.I'm Lost; I've Gone To Find Myself. If I Return Before I Get Back; Please Ask Me To Wait.

Re: Help! Lost Touchflo Phone Dialer Skin and Other Issues...
Thanks for your quick reply!
Generally speaking, how would I disable Touchflo? And is re-enabling it fairly simple if I change my mind?
As for Pocket Outlook, I think all apps are accessible even w/Touchflo. At least, I can access Word and Excel from apps.
Does Touchflo somehow overwrite or replace Pocket Outlook w/its own calendar and PIM, rendering Pocket Outlook inaccessible?

Open the Settings menu & go to the "Today" Control panel. Under the "Items" tab, uncheck "TF3D": This disables it's interface. Besure to check "Date", "Messaging", "Calendar", & whatevver else you may want on the today screen. To reenable TF3D, just go into the control panel & recheck "TF3D".
Pocket Word & Excel are part of the mobile Office package & have nothing to do with Outlook. Outlook is made up of "Inbox", "Contacts", "Calendar", & "Tasks".
I am not sure if TF3D overwrites the system. I have not used it in a long time. I don't even have the option of testing this theory, because I recooked my ROM & completely removed the TF3D interface. I find TF3D to be more of a pain then a useful piece of software. PPCs have limited memory to begin with, so having such a memory hog program is completely illogical.I'm Lost; I've Gone To Find Myself. If I Return Before I Get Back; Please Ask Me To Wait.
