Thread: Can not enter new phone number trough extended keyboard

HTC TouchPro 2 Windows Mobile 6.5 dutch ROM version 2.07.404.1 (80303) NLD

If I want to following steps I'm not able to do these trough the extended Keyboard. the TP2 only accepts input through the "Onscreen keyboard"

- Extended keyboard to open position
- Contacts, edit contact
- Add new phone number, type business.
- Tap phonenumber entry box, "onscreen" keyboard pops up
- When trying to enter a number trough the extended keyboard the input is not accepted. The cursor flips arround the screen.

I've found a workarround
- Add new phone number
- Enter 1 digit trough onscreen keyboard,
- Save entry
- Edit Entry
- On extended keyboard use keyboard cursor right.
- Now enter rest of nummer trough extended keyboard
- Save Entry

has anyone experienced this problem.
I've experienced this on 2 HTC Touch Pro2 devices.
