Thread: internet connection

hy again guys.hope this question is easy to answer.if i have a data plan from my carrier and also have a wireless connection on..does the phone ask me to select which one of the above to use?because i would like to use wifi..don't want to pay extra if i used up all my MB from my data plan.

if i enable wifi then i'n on wifi.if i disable it,an enable data connection then i'm using my data plan.is that correct?or my thinking is off?

I find that leaving Wifi always on, and if I'm in a hot spot like my own home network, my TP2 will always use the Wifi connection. With no Wifi then it uses my provider's 3G etc. Hope this helps.

so if i disable both data connection and wifi,there is no way that i'll be able to connect to the internet.one of these two has to be enabled.right?
