I use SPB Pocket Plus. It is a Today plugin that shows the battery power in either a % or Time remaining. It is a self calibrating program that adjusts to the batteries average life expectancy for your usage. It also shows free RAM, ROM, & SD card space in MBs or %s. Another great feature is that you also get quick access to ALL the programs available on the device right from the today screen. Unlike Sense & TF3D/2D, Pocket Plus does not limit the # of Icaons you can add to the today screen. But; the BEST part of all is the fact that it also has an "X" button management protocol. After installing Pocket Plus your programs will Close instead of Minimizing when you press the "X" button!! Check it out @ www.SPBsoftwarehouse.com; BTW there is a free trial to see if you like before you buy. I have used this program with every WinMo phone that I have had; including my current HD2. It is one of the best programs that I have found for WinMo devices.
-You must disable SenseUI to use Pocket Plus. I have {& WILL} ALWAYS recommended that everyone disable SenseUI, or TF3d. SenseUI, TF3d, TF2d, and any other mobile shell available creates a large footprint & consumes mass amounts of system resources. SenseUI consumes over 30MB of RAM to run {The more plugins you use; the more RAM is consumed}. Disabling the shells not only frees up the RAM; it Speeds up the device exponentially. You will notice a HUGE difference
