Thread: How to uninstall programs and applications?

How can I uninstall programs and applications on my HTC Touch Pro 2? I don´t know if deleting an application or program really uninstall it.

Go to Settings/Applications/Remove programs and select what to remove from there.

You can only remove programs & files that you install on the device. Anything that was on the device, when you received it, is cooked into the ROM & is locked into the system. the only way to remove files from the ROM is to learn how to cook custom ROMs. Creating custom ROMs is not easy & one lil' F'up will cause you to brick the device. It is not recommended for novice hackers. There are plenty of custom ROMs that were cooked by experianced chefs. You can always try to find one that suits your needs.
