Thread: old text messages not showing but still in system

I know I still have older text messages from an individual, but it isn't showing up when I go to "All messages and click on the thread". I don't get that top link option to view older messages. When I switch to unthreaded view, I see these older. Also when I tap onto the message directly from the touchflo screen, it will also show the older text messages. Any ideas where this view older text messages link went?
