Thread: Problem with Headset

Hii,
I have a Touch Viva phone from HTC that I bought 1.5 months back.
Till now I was able to use headset for music and taking calls in handsfree mode.
Suddenly from today, even when I am taking out the headset, the headset icon stays on the top row.
And when any call comes, I have to take it either on speaker or with headset, I cant use the normal functionality.

Please let me know if this is Hardware issue or Software and how can this we resolved.
