Default How do I stop my phone automatically conecting to mobile internet?

Hi, I just got an htc touch 2 but it keeps conecting to mobile internet. I have my phone connected to my house wi-fi but it still conects to the mobile internet.

Yesterday i was on for about 4 hours before i noticed. I turned it off 'data connection' and it disconected but it reconected in about an hour or so.

I am worried that i will end up spending alot of money without noticing. Any ideas how I can stop this?

    Thanks.

Hi, besides turning off data connection, I also put in a "operator" which I don't subscibe to in the Connection Setup, to ensure I don't
get charge. I got no problem after that and just use wi-fi to connect to the internet.
    Cheers,

Yea, 30minutes of internet on my sim used. So mad. There this application called NoData. Download that. It toggles all GSM/GSRM GPRS and Service provider's internet. So it only uses your WiFi as a option for internet. Its very VERY handy. You can toggle it on and off anytime you want.

Download the program and then scroll down in your menu.
    I love this program.
