Default 2GB MicroSD Sandisk Memory card problems wif new HTC Touch2

So i JUST got my phone two days ago. At first i was using a nokia 6500slide classic. It had a 2gb microsd sandisk card.
I formatted the card into a FAT32 If i'm not wrong and i then inserted in the HTC touch2. I went to file explorer. I did not see any storage card. It doesn't recognize it.

So i'm wondering what am i doing wrong? It seems very much compatible being a 2gb microsd sandisk which the manuals says that it works. I really want two transfer my musics video and pictures. I would appreciate it if i got some help.

    Thanks

    Try FAT file system.

    Alright.

So there are three options there,NTFS,FAT(Default and FAT32.
I have chosen FAT Default. I guess that's FAT16 if i'm not wrong.

I shall try it once it completes formatting.

Do note that i am using my nokia6500 as an alternative adapter to read the memory card.
I shall try formatting the card on my nokia6500 too if it does not work and i shall get back to you.
