Thread: How Do i set connection priority

Hi,

How do I set connection priority. While I am in Wifi my mobile always connect to GPRS and download mail. I want to provide Wifi as 1st and then GPRS for all external communication like mail or map etc.

If it's only when checking your email that it requests GPRS/3G connection, try editing your email account configuration.

Open the Messaging application, click Menu > Options, tap on your account to edit your account's setup. When you reach the SMTP server address, click Advanced Server Settings and choose "The Internet" for Network Connection and click Done. Continue with the rest of the setup pages to the end. This way the Messaging application will use whichever is the active connection.
