Need Help!!! HTC TOUCH 2 NON-CAMERA PHONE
Hi all,
I'm just a day old to this new phone. I'm having trouble when connecting the phone to my PC to transfer music or wall paper to the phone. Can anyone help me please?
When i connect the usb cable to my PC, there is 3 prompt :-
a) ActiveSync
b) Internet Sharing
c) Device Compasion
So which one should i select inorder for me to copy file to my phone? When i selected b or c, i can see E drive from my PC, but i can't do any transfer, can anyone help me out?
Also, if i'm able to transfer my music file, how can i use them as my ringtone and sms tone?
I do not have any external sd card yet.
Thanks in advance.
Regards,
Kencher

You need an Active Sync connection. If yo do not have an SD card for storage you will have only very limited storage for music files etc.

Hi patcooke,
thanks for you reply.
The question is how can i copy a music files from my PC to my phone, nevermind about the limited storage as i just need to try out before i purchase an external SD card.
Now if i selected Active Sync, so what is the next step i should do? Lets say i just need to move a small file to my phone.
Thanks.

The exact display on the pc will depend on whether you have Vista/Win 7 or earlier system. But you should be given the opportunity to connect and then browse. Alternatively you should also be able to see the HTC in My Computer and should be able to just open it as a drive and show you the RAM storage which you can just copy an paste to as a normal external drive.
