Please forgive my complete newbie questions. I'm looking to upgrade my phone to a combination PDA and 3G phone. The HTC 3600 looks to be the best solution for me.

Since AT&T does not sell this phone, I need information or advice on how to use an unlocked phone I purchase from a third-party vendor with my AT&T account. Is this as simple as switching out an internal card? Or is this a programmatic configuration within the phone itself? Or is this not possible?

Any help appreciated.

With a GSM network (which ATT is) you can use any unlocked phone on it, just pop your SIM card in and its fine

I think for data you need to set up the connection settings, you can find that info on the internet
