Re: Screen hangs...
Hi,
I have this problem too now, it has only happened since I upgraded to windows 6.1 a few days ago. I haven't found a solution as yet though

Hi,
After putting up with my tytn II regularly hanging for 8-10 seconds between screen presses I finally got really fed up with it last week and tried to re-install wm 6.1. I used the link provided by the HTC website and the install went smoothly. I decided to test the phone for a while before adding any more applications, and within 10 minutes, it started hanging again! I called the HTC helpline hoping that I could downgrade back to the original OS. I was dissapointed to find out that they do not allow you access to the official wm 6.0 rom, as my warranty expired in November I would have to pay at least £25 for them to do the downgrade and as they have a backlog of phones at the mo, it was likely to take about 10 days
So I decided to have a go at downgrading the phone myself, I found a great site called xda Developer and it had a great "how to guide" on Rom upgrading. It also had a link to all the previous Roms for the tytn II. After going through the xda forum about each Rom, I decided to try this version - RUU_Kaiser_HTC_WWE_3.02.405.0_radio_sign_25.70.30. 05_1.58.26.20, it is still wm 6.1, but it's an earlier version. I've had it installed on my phone now for nearly 24 hours and so far it has been fine
I don't know why my tytn ii has problems running the official wm 6.1 rom, as I know it works fine on the majority. But at least my phone appears to be behaving itself now

The XDA site is a fantastic reference site for win mobile devices especially when it comes to ROM development.
Glad you got your issue sorted Karen.
JB are you running 6 or 6.1?My current device is a HTC Touch HD
