Thread: HTC Sync has stopped working with my Wildfire S and PC

HTC Sync has stopped working with my Wildfire S and PC. Ithas worked for weeks ever since I have had my phone. I have downloaded HTC Syncagain & installed it on my PC but the phone keeps saying “Unable to findHTC Sync on your PC” the problem is it is running on the PC but the phone cannotconnect to it. Why all of a sudden has it stopped? Can anyone help please Ihave done a Google search and tried a few things even taking the battery outbut still nothing. It’s driving me crazy I want to add some apps and music butcan’t.

Also on another thing there is a over the air firmware update available “Update: Android 2.3.5 updateand performance improvement. The new Build number after the update will be2.13.401.3 (From the Home Screen on your device go to MENU> Settings>About phone> Software information> Software number). Update: Applicationand system enhancement.”

WhenI get to software number and push it nothing happens what am I suppose to do?
