Thread: irritating problem

i'm new to this phone.......

it's not a problem as such but something has changed and i don't know why.

at the top of the screen where you can slide the notifications screen down use to show me the facebook symbol when there was a notification that was from facebook but now the symbol is a series of colours lined up one above the other.

now i haven't changed anything other than setting up gmail and i also tried to move all contact information from my hotmail account to my new gmail account but i don't think this is anything to do with it.

even though i did get a page that was to do with contacts etc from facebook and the like but i thought this was to do with the information transferring over to gmail.

any ideas?
