Thread: Wildfire and Airplane mode

Hi, I've just bought a Wildfire and although it seems to be mainly running fine, when I have a sim card in, it only runs in Airplane mode plus when I try and get the IMEI number it won't come up (come's up fine with no sim card) I've tried multiple ways to turn off airplane mode, downloaded an app to turn it on/off, power button option and although these will occasionally say it is turned off you cannot make/recieve texts and calls and when I go in through the actual menu to check the settings it says Airplane is on and no matter how many times I turn it off as soon as I go back to the page it's on again.

I've attempted a hard reset to no avail, if anyone can help it will be greatly appreciated.

How old is the sim card? Maybe you need a new one.
