Thread: How to link SIM contacts in People?

Hi everyone, this is my first post so please bear with me! I got a Wildfire phone yesterday, which is my first smart phone. I set up my Facebook and Twitter accounts and I'm using it with a sim card from my old phone, so imported the contacts from that.

The problem is when using the People app, I have multiple contacts for the same person. For example, I have 4 separate contacts for my sister - SIM contact, Facebook, Twitter and email. I have managed to link the Facebook, Twitter and email contacts for her, but I can't link her phone numbers to it. I have 3 phone numbers for her (home, work and mobile) on the SIM card - how do I link these so that when she calls me it shows her photo, status updates etc? When I try to link, it doesn't show up the SIM contacts so I can't add her phone numbers to the main contact page

you can send the SIM contacts to yourself as a vCard by going to
PEOPLE-THE CONTACT YOU WANT TO CONVERT TO PHONE-MENU-SEND CONTACT-SEND-(SEND IT TO YOURSELF)

You will then recieve it as an SMS
-PRESS THE SAVE ICON IN THE TEXT-SAVE-REPLACE

and it will now be a phone contact instead of a sim contact so you can now link it to facebook .ETC.

you can go on....... Phone, Menu, People, Menu, View, then tick and uncheck the contacts you want to see
